Rentals and Overnights
When the Explorium is closed to the public, it can be open to you and your friends or company!
Looking for a great place to have your office holiday party, entertain clients, a private function for your children? The Explorium is available to rent most days beginning at 6:00 pm. Catering can be provided by renter and food can be eaten inside the Explorium (some foods may be limited to rooms without carpeting, i.e. barbeque, pizza). Alcoholic beverages may be consumed if provided by a caterer with a proper ABC license.
How cool would your next private party be with all of the fun exhibits and the Explorium.

Your group can take over the Explorium for a night at our Explorium Overnight. Overnights include pizza dinner, museum rental, activities, and breakfast. Pricing is determined by size of group and activities requested. Base price starts at $20 per child with a minimum of 25 children. Traveling Exhibit Rental
Saddles Up! The Versatile Arabian Horse is a travelling exhibit including dramatic play props (costumes, saddles, equisizer horses) that teach about different styles of showing. There is a full size fiberglass Arabian horse and handler for display. A kiosk with information about the Arabian horse, an exhibit about tying a turban, and Arabian horse trivia and information packets. There is also a simulated nomadic tent with dramatic play items and a book nook. Comes with free standing signage that gives more information about the horse and its impressive history. This exhibit is a partnership with Markel, The Arabian Horsemen’s Distress Fund, and the Pyramid Society.
Braille Touch Cart is a mini-travelling exhibit that includes braillers, low vision simulator goggles, raised relief US map puzzle, “What is Blindness” information.
