We love being partners with teachers. As one teacher said, “We had a fabulous field trip with a spectacular presenter!” And many others make the Explorium an annual trip for their students.
A Group Visit to the Explorium is fun and educational. Our goal is to bring a hands-on perspective to what children are learning in the classroom. For the ease of our teachers, all of our exhibits and enrichment programs have been matched to the Core Curriculum Standards for Kentucky.
Group Visit Enrichment Programs enhance your visit to The Explorium by providing a closer, hands-on look at many of our exhibit topics. All of our programs can be tailored to fit to any grade level. Ask for more information if you are interested. Don’t see what you’re looking for? We are happy to create programs to fit your needs. Each program is approximately 30 minutes long. We can do just one enrichment activity or have 2-3 activities on a specific subject for a deeper understanding of that topic. The cap number per program is approximately 30 children. (Larger groups will be divided into smaller groups.) Click here for a listing of our enrichment programs. If you would like an enrichment on a different topic or for a different grade level, email our educational coordinator Kalli Turner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Group Visit base price (includes museum admission only): $6.00 per child or paying visitor

Groups are 10 or more children. To ensure proper staffing, we require at least 24 hour advance reservations. There must be one chaperone for every five (5) children. Required chaperones are free. (Children with disabilities may have a one to one ration of chaperone to child.)
